The range of QAX generating sets is now extended up to 60 kVA and features a compact build to incorporate the same acoustically-treated weather-proof enclosure as the new XAS 137 compressor.

A new QAX 40-60 range of generating sets has been introduced by Atlas Copco featuring a compact build using the same compact enclosure as the new XAS 137 compressor; extending the previous range of QAX 12-35.
The QAX series of sets have been designed to meet the electrical needs of rental fleet, construction applications and the public utility sector.
The new sets are rated at 40 and 60 kVA at 50 Hz and 50 and 70 kVA at 60 Hz, joining the existing Series 7 compressor canopy, QAX 12, 20, 24,30 and 35 models.
