Atlas Copco Compressors Showcases Marine Technology At WorkBoat Show 2012
Atlas Copco Compressors will bring its industry-leading air compressor technology, suitable for the toughest marine environments, to the International WorkBoat Show Dec. 5-7 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
“Marine work environments are not only some of the harshest and most demanding, and because of the often remote nature these jobs demand, reliable performance is a must,” said Paul Humphreys, vice president communications and branding for Atlas Copco Compressors. “Our compressors answer these incredible demands, and WorkBoat provides us with a great opportunity to illustrate these solutions directly to an audience that relies on this technology every day.”
With a collection of oil-free and oil-injected compressors ideal for a variety of marine applications, Atlas Copco provides the perfect solution for bulk handling, working air, control air, instrument air, feed air (nitrogen generation), exhaust gas treatment and low-pressure air for de-blasting semi-submersible and sewage treatment.
Atlas Copco will feature a number of its industry leading products at booth No. 3735, including the MAS GA 110 and LT5 Ketting compressor units. The MAS GA 110 compressor lives up to the harsh environment marine applications demand. With the lowest oil carryover content and discharge temperature on the market, the reliable performance helps avoid cargo discharge speed claims and off-hire claims. Its core components, including the oil separator, oil filter, coolers and electrical cubicle, make the MAS GA air compressor a reliable tool suitable for the toughest daily duties.
