Atlas Copco will showcase for the first time both its range of vacuum pump technologies and compressed air solutions for the woodworking industry at the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) 2014 from Aug. 20-23 in Atlanta.

Atlas Copco has been serving customers in the Atlanta region for 64 years and we’re excited to showcase our full portfolio of offerings for the woodworking industry, to both the international attendees and the local customers from the southeast United States,” said Joel Wagner, Atlanta Region Sales Manager, Atlas Copco Compressors.

The Atlas Copco exhibit will be located at booth No. 7423 and local sales and service representatives will be available to discuss Atlas Copco’s expanded vacuum pump portfolio. Featured products include Atlas Copco’s GV range of oil-sealed rotary vane and rotary screw vacuum pumps. These highly reliable vacuum pumps deliver a clean and efficient supply of vacuum and feature plug-and-play installation, low maintenance design and low noise and vibration levels throughout the pressure range.

Atlas Copco also offers a wide range of energy efficient compressed air solutions for the woodworking industry. The innovative GA VSD+ range reduces energy consumption by up to 50 percent compared to a traditional load/unload compressor of the same type; it also features a compact footprint and low noise levels, making it possible to install the compressor directly on the workshop floor. The reliable GX series also offers low energy consumption, easy maintenance and flexible installation at the point of use.

To celebrate Atlas Copco’s long tenure in Atlanta, Atlas Copco will give away a pair of baseball tickets at the end of each day. Attendees can enter the raffle by visiting the Atlas Copco exhibit at booth No. 7423 during regular exhibiting hours. The International Woodworking Fair 2014 will be held Aug. 20-23 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
