Atlas Copco Compressors Showcases Technology at 2011 PRI Show

Atlas Copco Compressors will showcase its reliable, industry-leading compressed air systems at the Performance Racing Industry Show (PRI) from December 1-3, at the Orange County Convention Center, North/South Building, in Orlando, Fla. The Atlas Copco booth will feature the same custom-painted KT5 air compressor by Kelvin Locklear of Outkast Kustoms that was also displayed at the SEMA show; a drawing following the PRI show will select a winner of the custom-painted, patriotic red, white and blue compressor from contest entries collected at SEMA and PRI.

“The automotive industry is a key customer group for Atlas Copco Compressors, from original equipment manufacturing plants to technician and body shops and even race team garages and testing facilities,” said Paul Humphreys, VP Communications and Branding for Atlas Copco’s U.S. Division. “We understand that technicians cannot compromise on optimal performance, which is why our engineers design and manufacture compressed air solutions that are tailored to meet the specific needs of every user.”

Atlas Copco Compressors will showcase the GX4FF oil-injected, rotary screw air compressor, as well as the custom-painted KT5 air compressor at PRI in booth No. 1811. The Atlas Copco GX4FF consistently and efficiently delivers clean, pure air, which protects equipment and lowers energy costs. The KT5 is a two-stage, reciprocating piston air compressor designed specifically to deliver reliable performance in workshops and light industrial environments.

Atlas Copco representatives will be available to provide product demonstrations and share additional information about Atlas Copco’s industry-leading performance. Professionals representing thousands of race teams, from NASCAR Cup teams to NHRA Top Fuel, ALMS to Grand Am, Japan to the UK, attend PRI to ensure they stay current with racing technology.
