Atlas Copco Compressors Employees Donate $13,500 to Benefit American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life in York County

Atlas Copco Compressors employees donated more than $13,500 to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of York County East and the Relay For Life of Western York County. Atlas Copco served as a Presenting Sponsor and provided generators for both events which took place on May 16 and 17.

The American Cancer Society also recognized Atlas Copco Compressors, BeaconMedaes, Chicago Pneumatic Compressors and Chicago Pneumatic Tools for donations made during the 2014 Health and Wellness Fair. A Partnership Appreciation Award was presented to the employees and companies as a “thank you” from the American Cancer Society for donating to the cause.

Every year, employees at Atlas Copco Compressors hold a major fundraising drive to give back to the local community. This year’s fundraiser and sponsorship of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in York County aligns with Atlas Copco’s wellness initiatives, some of which were inspired directly by the American Cancer Society. Every dollar that employees raised during the fundraiser was matched by Atlas Copco.
